Kim specializes in site-specific designs that fuse form and function. Her interior artistry melds the intrinsic beauty of custom designed glass with the movement of brushed metal(s). Her exterior creations can function as accent art, privacy fences or as screens. All her garden sculptures, goddesses, house markers and other concepts unite architecture with the surrounding environment.
Kim L. Merriman was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, and now makes Olympia, Washington her home. With more than 20 years of award-winning experience as a portrait photographer, she now also applies her skill in lighting to interior and exterior fused glass and mixed-metal creations.
